I found an interesting article about young adult writers trying to cash in by pitching ideas and churning out books to hopefully be made into future blockbusters. That was my impression after reading I Am Number Four. It lacked the substance of other YA books I've read. It seemed like James Frey was just whipping it up to be made into a movie. Bring back the authors who just need to tell their stories...
