People came from near and far with only a mere whisper of there possibly being gold. People left their lives in search of striking it rich. Mining towns sprung up virtually overnight. Some people were lucky enough to find the precious metal but most left with empty pockets and broken dreams.Due to the tough economic times and the rising price of gold, we may be facing a modern day Gold Rush!
