Celebrate Life

Tim Tebow created quite a media firestorm with his new Pro Life ad this Super Bowl. What is your reaction to his commercial? Was this a courageous move? Why or why not?

  1. My reaction to this commercial is that it was very good that Tim showed everyone what he thought. Obviously he felt very strongly about this that he did something about it. I think it's good that he kept his mind on something, stuck to it and did it. Yes I think that it was a courageous move to do that commercial because he definatly knew that all the pro choice people would disagree with him.

  2. I think that Tim Tebow showed who he is and what he thought was the right thing to do. He defiantly put himself out there and stuck up for what he believed in. Typically it doesn't even matter what other people think is right if you feel very strongly about any topic, you should just go for it and tell the world what you think. I am not saying that it would be easy but it would be a really challenging thing to put your self up to. I think it would take a lot of courage and bravery to say what you believe in even if you knew that people might not think the same as you or maybe even strongly disagree with you.

  3. !!!!!!!!!! BETTER QUALITY VID: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sw7qX1TpdNQ&feature=related !!!!!!!!!!!

My reaction to this is that he just wanted people to know that this is how he feels, he feels VERY strongly about it and that he doesn't care what other people think. Tim is one of the most, if not THE most religious player in the NFL and he wants to change people perspective on it. He knew that he would cause a big firestorm in the media but he did it anyways. I think that it took a lot of guts to do this and i think that it was a very courage move.

  4. Hey Andrew, keep in mind that he isn't in the NFL yet, he's still in the NCAA.

Tim Tebow is a great player and the only thing that he believes in more than his abilities is God. He truly showed that he doesn't care about what other people think, but I can't help but imagine how he probably made himself a gamble here - he might get a lot of good attention, but at the same time, pretty negative, too. Was he ready for this? Should he stick to the black-scripture-tape? He owes it all to God... personally, DESPITE the fact that I'm pro-choice, I respect Tebow's opinion AND decision.

  5. I think that he has the right to reach out and say what he really believe in. He took a chance and I think it was a great move on his part. He showed that he really cared for more then just football.
